How it Works

  • The first step in your journey to well-being is simple—just reach out. You can contact us via phone, email, or by filling out the contact form on our website. During this initial interaction, we'll answer any questions you may have and, if you’re ready, schedule an initial consultation. We also offer a free 15-minute introductory call to help us understand your needs and determine if our services are the right fit for you.

  • Your first session is all about getting to know each other. We’ll discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, any challenges you're facing, and what you hope to achieve. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions about our approach and to see if you feel comfortable working together. Before this meeting, you’ll receive some forms to complete, which help us make the most of our time together.

  • Once we’ve had a chance to connect, we’ll begin a more detailed assessment. This involves exploring your personal history, current concerns, and long-term goals. Together, we’ll identify the areas you’d like to focus on in therapy. This collaborative process ensures that our work together aligns with your expectations and desired outcomes.

  • Therapy is a journey, and every session is a step forward. Our sessions typically last 50 minutes and are usually held weekly or bi-weekly, depending on your needs. We utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to your unique situation, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and person-centered therapy. Our goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly.

  • Your privacy is our top priority. Everything discussed in therapy remains confidential, allowing you to speak freely without judgment. There are a few exceptions to confidentiality, such as in cases where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, which we’ll discuss in detail during our first meeting.

  • Therapy is an evolving process. We’ll regularly review your progress and discuss any adjustments needed to your therapy plan. Your feedback is crucial, and we encourage open communication to ensure that our work together remains effective and aligned with your goals.

  • Therapy is designed to empower you with the tools and insights you need to thrive. When you feel ready, we’ll discuss the possibility of concluding your sessions. This can happen when you’ve achieved your goals or feel confident in the progress you’ve made. Remember, therapy is always available to you in the future should you need further support.

  • Sessions are 60 minutes for individuals and 90 minutes for families. We accept e-transfer and credit card. We also provide invoices for those who wish to claim through their insurance. Please note our 24-hour cancellation policy to avoid being charged for missed appointments.
